Celebrities
What I know is that he speaks Chinese very well and it is so, 83 year-old, not that young, but still made a fantastic and academic speech with a great sense of humor and clear expressions. I totally admire and respect his great talent on his field, so what a shame that I have to go early because of my team meeting.
But it's just after the meeting, my boss Dr.Jane Lockwood came into general office of Centre for Language in Education with a gentleman and a Lady. I still wonder how can I believe that the name from Jane's introduction would be that famous David Nunan, oh My, What's more, he just shaked hands with us GPTs, Is that a dream? Prob not, oh, definitely not. If you know something about EFL, TESL,SLA stuff, you certainly know this shining name as Steve Krashen and Rod Ellis.
They've been making great contribution to Linguistics and Language Education, obviously I need to be more diligent instead of being shame of my life in the future.

Election Day
All of the ETAs sat around the TV in ASLLC this afternoon while the live news of Barack Hussein Obama Jr. speaking to supporters in Chicago. Definitely, He won. What I don't know is whether that means history would be changed, but absolutely, everyone here voted for him. Are we back to 1960s which time Kennedy move into White House?
The cover of Time magazine always appears a sense of humor by dull comparison——F.D.Roosevelt and B.H.Obama this time possibly based on the reason of Columbia and Harvard University. Not every politician deserve the adjective GREAT. Congratulations, New President of the Super Power, we're gonna keep an eye on you. One U.S. Hegemony or Survival?
Whatever, the Inter hall Human Scavenger Hunt ran successfully and in no need of held a meeting every Monday, I bet all of the participants had fun.

Typhoon Day
Trust me, I don't mean to renew my blog on the day of typhoon. Higos flood our apartment from a opened window in one of my flatmate's room, and I prefer staying indoor to struggling in the storm, that's the reason.
I've been in HK for two weeks, with rapidly adaptation, everything is in my control so far and I enjoy it so much. Last evening, I took some Japanese food at Tsin Sha Tsui with one of my flatmate and some friends of his own who owned that opened window which was mentioned at the beginning of this article. Honestly speaking, It should be a little boring without girls, but those guys are very nice and easygoing, What most terrible is that they couldn't follow Mandarin and English well and I was always confused in Cantonese, so that's so-called a Chicken talking to a Duck.
In memory of my National Day, Miss Struggle (one of my colleague, Rowena, a such indecisive girl) and I were been to Sham Shui Po for a new laptop at Golden Computer Shopping Centre and experienced unforgettable mini trip on the famous Star Ferry to Central and the amazing Firework Show at Victoria Harbor. Some pictures taken by the antique CASIO DC of Rowena were shared in my facebook, you can click the link at right side of this page.
Maybe See you next Typhoon Day, aha.

Hong Kong, arrived with Hagupit
I've been HK IEd for two days, everything seems to be complicated and I still have to get it, I'm too tired to confirm that I am still alive.everything comes to me right as a flood.
But, I really love my job, really love this place. Hong Kong Institute of Education is just as same as my imagination, so international, so open and colorful.
I've got a lot of friends. Everybody around me are so kind and easy, even if I can't follow Cantonese, I still enjoy talking with them.
And the hostel, my favorite part, very harmonious, the students here are very innocent.
OK, I'm on my way.

Barista
Oh, China Mobile, despite I HAVE TO be one of your customer but still wanna give some obscene words to this damned venture.
All of us can realize that the only goal of this state-owned enterprise is exploitation.
All of the capitalists and dictators are living without sympathy.
Monopoly made some rules, confused and unacceptable to us, normal and necessary to them.
I was leaving with a thermoplastic drinkware, a memorial version Barista cup of Nanjing City. I can't imagine living without caremel machiatto, so my little little dream is to get a job to afford it, frequently.

Visa-Mission Impossible
I told my friend Paul about this visa stuff, he said
I bet it’s very complicated.
Absolutely he is right here.
I was kept waiting the permit label for one months and a half, I understand the Immigration Department, part of an administration, just did their job.
Indeed, money works, changes almost everything. I’m talking about this because my aunt asked me whether bribery could make the processing of visa more efficient. Ha, funny. It seems someone has been structuralized by a kind of invisible power.
Maybe, and I don’t know if it works. Actually, what I don’t know is HOW.
I’m just curious about the reason that the official of Public Security Bureau were looked so mad and out of patience, did I owe her some big money or dump her before?
All right, I admit I am complaining.
Oh god, I know I shouldn’t, forgive me, I just complain but not curse.
Finally, something important is that I’ve got the visa without bribery. The next is thanksgiving, I appreciate everybody who made contribution to this Mission Impossible, especially somebody I even don’t know now and ever.
They have done their job.
Thanks.
